Weight Loss Motivation is the difference between success and failure.
Need weight loss motivation? Just imagine your life with:

But, the world over, few people can succeed and drop their excess pounds and keep weight off. Why is that?Simple, no tools...those with the tools are those who succeed. So here are some tools, my personal tips to help you stay encouraged and on track. --MY TOP 10 MOTIVATIONAL TIPS TO HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT--
Recognize the benefits: More energy; Sleep better; Think better; More discipline; Better concentration; More strength; More drive; Better blood circulation; Lower cholesterol; Preventive maintenance of the heart; Less time spent at the doctors; Save money; Prevent cancer; Prevent emphysema; Smell better; Look better; Breathe better; Better sex; Live longer. Need I say more?
Weight loss motivation is all about desire. It can simply come down to this; how bad do you want to burn your excess fat and drop the extra weight? Ask yourself how much more important is it to look and feel good compared to sitting around watching TV eating fattening crap? List your own reasons for wanting to drop the pounds and get healthy. Take responsibility for your situation. You got yourself into this mess, now get yourself out of it.
Don't expect over night miracles. Set attainable goals, say 2-4 pounds a month. Start by making a few small healthy diet and exercise changes at a time, see the effects, add a few more. When you reach your weight goal for the month, set a new one. This is the way goals are achieved, weight loss motivation sustained, and lifestyle habits changed.
Keep the fat burning motivation going by visualizing how you will look when you lose weight. What clothes will you be wearing? What will you be doing? Spend some time every day imagining and enjoying the future you. Visualizing what you want to happen is part of making it happen. Don't be surprised if you start dreaming about the new you as well.
Get the support of others working towards the same goal. People the world over swear by local weight loss groups. They give you accountability as well as education, support and a chance to make new friends in your community. You can also use them for maintenance once you have lost weight.
Take monthly weight loss pictures wearing the same thing. It's encouraging to see your clothes become too big as the pounds melt away. Also get rid of any clothes that are too big for you as soon as you lose weight. Anyone with a fat set of clothes in the closet is expecting to fit them again and actions often follow expectations. So chuck them out!
Positive thinking & positive attitude are key. Your body is wired to react to your brain's thoughts so make them good ones and you will feel better. You may want to check out some motivational tapes and even hypnosis. Anything to get the "I'm gonna burn fat" message drilled into your brain. But never forget, as helpful as motivational tapes and books can be, in the end, it's all up to you.
Stress anxiety is the top reason people eat when they are not hungry, and in case you haven't heard; meditation is a top stress reducer. But meditation is just one of the many ways to relax; listen to some music or watch a funny movie and laugh; it will take your mind off your work and family problems. It's all about stress management, you need to make time to chill out and start experimenting with relaxation techniques.I've found breathing exercises to be very effective (check out meditation for some simple techniques.) In a pinch, just go find a quiet place. Watch the clouds float by and focus on your deep breathing.
Be on the look out for inspirational stories of people who have succeeded in losing weight. When you find one that strikes a cord, cut it out and save it. Re-read the story when you're feeling down about yourself or think you are reaching a weight loss plateau. I did and found it helped a lot with my weight loss motivation. People who drop all the excess fat do not have super powers. They just stick with it.
Always remember, this weight loss motivation tip, you're dropping the pounds for yourself. No one else cares more about your health and your looks than you. You're going to burn off your excess fat because you're worth the effort and you value yourself. You just need to start treating your body more like a sacred temple instead of an amusement park. Smiles...Gigi
