A quick way to lose weight goes south fast if you hurt yourself, so start at a slow, nice and easy pace. And learn proper technique. You should choose to do shorter workouts for a few weeks and gradually increase the length and intensity of each session as your endurance and running on treadmill strength improves.
The running machine pace, (machines don’t day dream and slow down) and extra effort on your part (gotta keep up with the machine), means that you'll be covering more distance in less time. The results are; you'll be burning more calories. So do the math. The more calories you burn, the more weight you can lose. Gotta love it! A running machine can be a quick way to lose weight, but it does not work if you don't use it. So make it a daily habit to workout. Consistency with your workouts is the key to success. Here's couple of ideas to keep you on track and your workouts interesting. 1. If at all possible, do your exercise first thing in the morning. Over 90% of people who workout consistently, do so first thing in the morning. Make it a morning habit you stick with along with brushing your teeth. 2. Try listening to treadmill music. Music that inspires and motivates. Music that takes you to another place. Including treadmill music into your routine can make the miles fly by while the pounds fly off. I say this often, but it’s worth saying again. Quick weight loss through any “diet of the month” is only temporary. When the diet stops, the fat returns. So make treadmill workouts part of your lifestyle.
