Running music is ZERO commercials, ZERO interruptions and MAXIMUM motivation.

Running music can be a great motivator. This is especially true when you’re trying to lose weight and need a little more incentive to get out there moving.

Plugging into your favorite music gives you a non-stop, energizing beat that keeps your feet in motion for maximum fat burning.

Choose the right kind of running music, and you'll find a big part of your motivation to get out there and run is the opportunity to listen to your play list. I can’t wait to plug in and check out.

Plus you don’t have to worry about the pace or how far you’ve gone. You can program your music to time perfectly for your runs to get maximum fat burning.

Start your running music out slow during the warm up, then after 5-10 minutes have it pick up the pace and stay steady for the core of your routine. Then the music slows down again towards the end as you cool off right before your stretch. And yes, program in music to stretch by at the very end.

You can time and pace all your programs for the perfect running workout. That way you can just focus on the run and not worry about running long enough or fast enough. Your running music will be carrying you along.

You'll find listening to your favorite songs combined with running really take the edge off. In other words, together their pretty effective stress reducers, which helps massively in keeping the mind off eating (my old stress reducer.)

If you need more motivation on your walks, try plugging into your mp3 player. It may be just what you need to get out there and stay out there burning fat.

It’s not just about the entertainment value of running music either. Fact is, you'll burn more calories in less time while running to the beat of your favorite songs.

It’s been documented that when people listened to the music of their choice while exercising, they ran nearly 11% faster and burned an average of about 10% more calories.

But they feel like they were working only as hard as they did with the music off. Music makes the difference. It’s takes a direct route from your brain to your feet.

You’ll be burning more calories and the upbeat lyrics will lift your mood and self-esteem. Just crank up “Eye of the Tiger” and you’ll know what I mean.

It is possible to create your own walking music collection by combing through your personal CD collection. Just convert them to mp3 files and upload to your player.

Or you can spend some time and money downloading individual songs from the various sources (itunes). Then you make your own play list to last for amount of time you want to run, and hit road.

However, if you have neither the time nor inclination to do so, there are many companies that make compilations of walking music ready to purchase or download. Check out the web for the many different options.
