How to burn fat is really a pretty simple concept to wrap your head around.
The how to burn fat concept; exercise, exercise, exercise. No matter what anyone else promises this is the simple truth.
Got to get out there running or walking, your excess fat isn't going to disappear while you sleep. And computer games don’t count. But it's not just about exercise. Learning how to burn fat and lose weight involves eating healthy, and that's a big lifestyle change for most people. Your burn fat success is in your own hands. How much weight you lose depends on you. As with anything in life, the more you put in, the more you get out. You need 30 minutes of activity, walking or running on most, if not all days of the week. Learning how to burn that fat is learning how to make exercise a habit, a part of your lifestyle. Although all types of exercise count, generally more cardio activity, like a walking or running program are better than lower-calorie-burning moves like strength work or stretching for burning fat. You just need to do enough exercise, at say 150 calories burned per session, to add up to 3,500 calories, or 17,500 calories for five pounds of fat. Balance that with some healthy eating and you'll start dropping the pounds. You can't wish your fat away, but you can change your lifestyle and learn how to burn fat. Don’t give up if you have trouble figuring out how to burn fat right away. Everybody is different physiologically. So this caloric equation may not work perfectly for every body. You might need to experiment until you find the equation that gets results for you. Here's 10 tips that helped me learn how to burn fat, and will help you as well. 1. Cut out all hydrogenated fats (Trans fat), and High Fructose Corn Syrup (start reading labels of everything you put in your body.) Both make you fat. Besides they send signals to the brain telling you that you’re not full and you want more. That's not how to burn fat. 2. Cut down on processed foods. It’s all junk anyhow and just makes you fatter. If you can’t find it in nature think twice before you eat it. Again, learn to read food labels, look for minimal added preservatives and chemicals. 3. Develop a meal plan where you eat 6 times a day; yep, you heard right. Between your 3 meals a day, go for some healthy snacks, one being after dinner. These snacks will keep you from over eating at your main meals. That's how to burn fat.
4. Eat your protein throughout the day, your body needs it to constantly rebuild all day long. Just try and stick with quality proteins such as; lean meats, fish, and poultry. Whey and Soy Proteins will also work, but stay away from meats with high saturated fats and chemicals. So no more hot dogs or other artificially injected junk like that. 5. Drink more H20. Water is the miracle liquid in weight control. It’s 70% of your body; drinking more helps flush metabolic wastes out of your system, keeping your metabolism charged. Plus it also makes you feel fuller, helping you to eat less. As long as we’re on liquids, cut back on the soft drinks. The only thing they’re good for is making you fat. Read the labels, crap, crap, crap. Sorry but that’s just the way it is. 6. Consume at least 30 grams of fiber daily, you will feel fuller and eat less. Fiber also latches on to LDL cholesterol (the bad stuff) and flushes it out of your system. Good sources of fiber include vegetables (with the skin), fruits (with the skin), whole-grain breads and high fiber cereals. 7. Remember to eat your grains early in the day and stick with the water rich carbohydrates such as fruit in the evening. This helps your body deal with the way insulin is secreted into the bloodstream. 8. Make a commitment to lifestyle changes. Get active and start a walking or running program. This is essential if you want to burn fat, besides you’ll start sleeping better. Speaking of sleeping, aim for 7-8 hours per night. Got to give your body a chance to recharge it’s batteries. But don’t sleep too much. That's not good for you either.
9. Switch to lower glycemic foods and eat your meals slower. Eating fast usually results in over eating. For most people it takes about 20 minutes for your body to know when you're full. If you eat too quickly, you'll end up eating too much before your body gets the signal it's actually full. 10. Fish is your friend. Learn to love salmon, it’s rich in Omega-3s, an Essential Fatty Acid that helps keep your heart healthy (and helps keeps the bad fat out.) Fatty fish such as salmon, halibut and shellfish help reduce the size of fat cells and fat loss. Got to love that, so make these fish a habit. Last words on how to burn fat: Remember, this isn’t about being the food police. While eating healthy is great, don't stress out by not eating the foods you love some of the time. Have a piece of cake at the party, have a beer or a cocktail at the bar. The key is moderation and not to make it a norm. Try to limit falling off the wagon to once a week. That works for me. Smiles….Gigi
