First off, kick up your protein intake for the day. Go for around 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. To burn more fat I like low fat, low carb, protein shakes to help make my protein goals for the day, you might like them as well. They’re fast, easy and convenient.

Second, start grilling your meat, poultry and fish and don’t forget to always remove the fat and skin. The fastest way to lose weight means organic, fresh as possible and keep the portions to about the size of a deck of cards. Aim for 5 small meals a day. Remember, I said small meals.

Third, don’t even look at soft drinks or alcohol, keep tea or coffee to a minimum, and start using skim milk rather than full cream milk. Then make it a habit to drink water, lots of water. If you're socializing or just want to take the edge off on the weekend, and have to indulge, keep the alcohol to one or two drinks (no shooters).

Like I said before, the fastest way to lose weight takes willpower. If it’s something your in short supply of then I don't recommend going for it.

It…will…drive…you…crazy. But if you got what it takes to “just do it”, lose the following foods as well, and get ready for the new you.

FOODS YA GOTTA LOSE…

1. Crackers, biscuits and cookies (doesn't matter if they're low fat or fat free, lose them)

2. Rice Cakes and crackers (more processed crap)

3. Pasta of any kind ( I love it too, but lose it, at least for now)

4. Tofu of any kind (it’s harsh but it will be worth it)

5. Deli Meats - including the low fat / fat free kind (don’t even think about a hot dog)

6. Cheese or low fat cheese of any kind (with cottage cheese being the only exception)

7. Breakfast Cereals and Granola (if you are going to have cereal use unprocessed brands)

8. Breads and Buns (this includes bagels)

9. Soft drinks, flavored waters, flavored teas (stick to water)

10. Fast food (make it a distant memory)

The fastest way to lose weight basic meal direction…

Breakfast, stick with oatmeal (not the sweet stuff, go for the real deal), keep it interesting with some fruit.

Snack, a hand full of mixed nuts.

Lunch, and for all other in between meals stick to salads and green veggies with your protein portions.

Snack, some sliced fruit.

Dinner, same as lunch, salads and green veggies with your protein portions.

Exercise, stick with a running or walking program. Plus it wouldn’t hurt if you started parking further away from the store when you’re shopping, and when ever possible take the stairs. The fastest way to lose weight is all about doing what ever you have to to burn more fat.

As always check in with your doctor and let them know what you’re doing, then with their okay, go for it.



And don’t forget to get plenty of rest. This is key to a happy body.
